We are Rosanna and Melissa, mother and daughter united by a passion that lies behind every Kottoge design. We want to welcome you to our little knitting home!

Here you’ll find knitting and crochet patterns to create with your own hands, whether you’ve been knitting for years or are just beginning to discover this wonderful art of knitting and crocheting.

Our wish is to accompany you and help you enjoy every part of the process: from choosing the yarn and discovering the design, to seeing how, little by little, your own hands transform it into a unique garment.

What will you find in Kottoge?

At Kottoge, we are inspired by our grandmother’s approach to design. Whenever she knitted a garment, she created an entire universe around it. For example, a sweater could become a complete outfit, accompanied by a hat, mittens or matching pants. We wanted to preserve that way of creating.

That’s why you’ll find collections of knitting and crochet patterns for babies, children and adults, featuring different techniques, colours, stitches and possibilities to combine. What’s more, each design can be made separately or become part of a larger knitted universe.

We love the idea that a pattern can become a garment, a collection can become an outfit and, one day, all of this can become part of a new story.

What does Kottoge mean to us?

For us Kottoge is synonymous with home and calm, it is sitting down to knit together on a cold winter afternoon, or in the shade of a tree on a beautiful summer afternoon. It is enjoying shared time and that small pleasure of creating something with our own hands.

It is also the way we found to keep alive a legacy that began with our grandmother and that today we want to share with you. We hope you find in Kottoge a design that inspires you, a project that you enjoy and, above all, many stories to weave.
